'Ghymes Band', Budapest Sportaréna, 14 March
„We think that freedom is far away, flying high in the rich world of uncertainty, unsafety and promise, where there is too big laugh and too big cry. How old are we, if we had forgotten that we are born with it; we’ve just carefully sent it ahead. But Freedom is Tomorrow, and it’s in love with us.” „Loving Freedom”

Only youth dares to call it back, because it is the biggest braveness to make it our own, since it is desperately beautiful. In March 1848 we, Hungarian did it again. It was a rare moment, and no words can recall it truly. Only sincere singing.”
„Let’s sing the moment of braveness together.” (Tamás Szarka)

Ghymes band, who is awarded with ’Hungarian Heritage Honors’, is preparing for a festive series of concerts. One of the most succesful world music group of our nation is to perform in Győr (Győr City University Stadium), in Budapest (Papp László Budapest Sportaréna) and in Debrecen (Főnix Hall) to salute to the national festive day of 15 March.

Celebrated guest-artists such as theatre performers Keresztes Ildikó, Dörner György and Trill Zsolt, and in Budapest Zsuráfszky Zoltán and the Honvéd Dance Theatre will be performing with the band. The music of Ghymes affects our mind, our soul as well as our feelings.

This music comes from deep down and gives pure strength. Ghymes believes, that the energy, and the magic of playing live is the key for their success. The music of the 27 year-old group is characterised by the very special, well-known musical and literary-standard lyrical world of Tamás Szarka, and becomes a whole with the folky musical elements of Gyula Szarka.
