Radisson Blu In Budapest Joins Earth Hour 2010
"Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change. Earth hour was conceived by WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007, when 2.2 million residents of Sydney participated by turning off all non-essential lights.

Following Sydney's lead, many other cities around the world adopted the event and now almost 1 billion followers will participate in this year's project.

Earth Hour 2010 will continue to be a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community. A call to stand up, to show leadership and be responsible for our future. And so does Radisson Blu Béke Hotel, too and joins the project.

Get involved and enjoy a romantic candle light dinner in the Olive's Restaurant of the Radisson Blu Béke Hotel. Or how about a Special Earth Hour Cocktail in the Zsolnay Bar?

Bring your old batteries and your endeavours will be rewarded with one of the Earth Hour Cocktails for half price.

A perfect spot for beginning the Saturday night, for a romantic candle light dinner or for joining such a praiseworthy action."
