Welcome Dear Readers!

First up this week, we're marking our milestone 20th birthday
- you can see a lovely video with the new UK Ambassador here.

The annual XpatLoop Charity Party usually takes place every November...
however this year it had to be called off, sadly due to the Covid pandemic.

Still, we can all come together virtually to make a difference for a worthy cause
- here are warm words about how from Her Majesty's Ambassador Mr. Paul Fox:

"As the first news portal for expats here, XpatLoop has played an important role in Hungary’s expat community.

Thank you for being our reliable partners for two decades, and thanks for all the charity work you do!

As a Brit and as Ambassador, I am delighted that XpatLoop has held a Bonfire Night party for over a decade.

This is not only one of the best parties in town, but it has also raised incredible amounts for a number of good causes. Over the years XpatLoop has raised HUF 30 million to support local charities.

In particular, I would like to highlight the support XpatLoop has given for ages to children with serious health conditions through collaboration with the Csodalámpa / Magic Lantern Foundation.

I was looking forward to attending the popular Bonfire Night’s charity party organised by XpatLoop in Budapest... Still it is possible for all of us to support Hungarian children in need now.

Let’s come together virtually by making a contribution online via: www.csodalampa.hu/csodalampa/donate"

We'd like to thank all readers + partners for such great support over the years.

As always, here's hoping you like what's in it for you below.

Yours with best wishes, Team XpatLoop
