Skrillex, born Sonny John Moore on 15 January 1988 in Los Angeles, is an American DJ, producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern electronic music.

Often called the “King of Dubstep,” he played a central role in bringing dubstep and brostep into the mainstream, especially in the United States, with his aggressive, bass-heavy sound and unforgettable drops.
