Hungary Tops European Swimming Competition In Debrecen
László Cseh won the third of his three gold medals on the last day of the European Swimming Championships in Debrecen on Sunday, taking Hungary to the top of the medals table in the competition. Hungary won nine gold, ten silver and seven bronze medals, ahead of Germany at eight gold, six silver and four bronze.

Prime Mnister Viktor Orbán presented the gold medal to Cseh after his victory in the 400-metre medley.

“To outdo Germany in any sport is a great thing and to finish at the head of Europe in the medals standings, is a great glory. Hungary needs such historic triumphs,” he said.
