Wizz Air Opens Debrecen-Luton Link In Hungary

The first flight of low cost airline Wizz Air from London Luton to Debrecen arrived on Monday with company CEO József Váradi and István Herdon, owner of airport operator Xanga, on board the 180-seat aircraft. Debrecen mayor Lajos Kósa welcomed the passengers.
The flights operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Wizz Air also announced plans to link Debrecen with Eindhoven and Milan Malpensa from the winter.
“Our commitment to Hungary was the deciding factor in launching the flights,” Váradi declared.
