The airline will operate three weekly flights from Budapest to London Southend in what will be the fifth direct connection to London from the Hungarian capital.

Last year passenger traffic between the two cities rose by 14% to 1.5 million, with double digit growth expected this year.

In the summer, Wizz Air, Ryanair, easyJet, Norwegian and Flybe will operate 190 flights a week between Budapest and various London airports.
