GDP Down 2.4% in Hungary
Hungary’s economy contracted by an annual 2.4% in the second quarter, the second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) shows.

Adjusted for seasonal and calendar year effects, GDP shrank by 2.3%.

Quarter on quarter, GDP eased by an adjusted 0.3%, falling for the fourth quarter in a row. In the first half of 2023, GDP shrank by an adjusted 1.7% year on year, according to a first reading of data, KSH said.
