The English School of Budapest took part in the UK Comic Relief charity project “Make Your Face Funny for Money” between 16 and 20 March. The money raised was donated to the Piros Orr Bohócdoktorok Alapítvány (Red Nose Clown Doctors Foundation). As in schools across the UK, our children painted their faces and used wigs, hats and props to take souvenir photos, while their parents donated money ...

The most successful Dutch jazz singer of all time and one of the most energic rock bands from the UK will perform live at this year's Campus Festival, starting on 22 July 2015. These acts add a strong international character to the biggest summer open-air event of Eastern Hungary, held in Debrecen, the second city of the country. The Gyula Castle Theatre operates in the court of the only gothic brick fortress that has survived in Central-Europe. Between 3rd – 13th July 2014 the guests will be entertained with great variety of performances which are available not only the court of the fortress that is turned into a theatre, but also on the nearby lake-stage and on stages set up at different places around.
