Full and vibrant viola sound, performance suggestiveness and perfect technical preparation – these characteristics define the stage presence of German Tabea Zimmermann, and if we were to replace viola for cello, then the same would be equally true of the musicality of István Várdai.

The BFO is so much at home with Brahms’ symphonies, it’s as if they were sitting in a comfortable reading chair.
