Chinese End Search For Hungarian Mountaineer

"The Chinese authorities have ended the search for László Várkonyi, who was hit by an avalanche 7,000 metres up Mount Everest on Monday, Beijing-based Hungarian consul general Péter Sárközy announced Thursday.
Chinese authorities see no further hope of finding Várkonyi alive, Sárközy told Inforádió."
