Protest Against Waste Incinerator In Hungary
"Protesters appeared as mounted hussars in Szentgotthárd on Saturday to demonstrate against construction of a planned waste incinerator across the border in Heiligenkreuz, Austria.

Two 1848-era cannons were taken to the border and rounds were symbolically fired towards the site of the planned incinerator.

The goal was to draw the attention of decision-makers to the project, as Vas county, Parliament and the government have condemned the incinerator. A permit for the project could be issued any day now, Magyar Hírlap writes."
