Angry Hungarian Farmers Take Land In Kajászó
Farmers in Kajászó, Fejér county “reclaimed” 70 hectares of land on Sunday in protest against the award of numerous state land lease contracts to one person. They ploughed 70 hectares of land leased to Árpád Kiss, a farmer from Kápolnyásnyék, who won 284 hectares at the state land lease tenders in the village, exceeding the limit set by the law on the total value of land lease rights that can be awarded to one person.

Local farmers took the “excess value” land under their control and separated it with tables and a rope.

Jobbik MP Zoltán Magyar was present at the ploughing.
