Edward Albee: Three Tall Women, 'Sanyi & Aranka Theatre, 20 April
The characters of this play seem to have sprung from the world of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,The American Dream, and A Delicate Balance, to dive head first into the perennially true discovery: we are all mortal, and the years fly by like moments... Edward Albee wrote Three Tall Women in the early 1990s, and it won him the Pulitzer Prize.

Profound and captivating, the story presents three women of different ages. We seem to be viewing three different lives—until we realize that what we see is the story of a single person.

They reveal their whole life, their youth, their loves, their marriages. Always a master of characterization, Albee again provides the three actresses with marvellous playing opportunities.
