English Stand Up Comedy, Brody Studios, 7 February

Tony is half Spanish and half Scottish. Born on the Costa Del Sol, he has lived in Manchester since he was a small boy. He mixes well thought-out observational humour with audience interaction, and quick witted responses. Tony has toured big theatres as the support act for Tim Vine and Jimmy Cricket, and was once the warm up comedian for the BBC’s 'Songs of Praise.’ His effervescent style makes him in huge demand in comedy clubs, cruise ships, and corporate events.
Born in Aberdeen to a military family, David Whitney went to Gordons Military School in Surrey. Just before joining the British Army, David changed his mind and went to drama school instead. David did his first stand-up comedy gig at the Friars Club in Beverly Hills. He regularly plays the biggest comedy clubs in Britain, when not acting in TV and feature films.
Dave shot to fame playing Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies and most recently featured in Harry Hill’s DVD ‘Sausage Time’. He has done four feature films which include playing Dave the comedian in ‘Maybe Baby’, written and directed by Ben Elton, and the porn star in ‘I want Candy’ directed by Stephen Surgit (unfortunately his scene didn’t make the final edit).
