Gioli & Assia return to Budapest with Resurrection, a concert show featuring three live acts!
No wonder one-third of the tickets for the April concert have already sold out.
Giolì & Assia are an Italian duo known for their unique blend of electronic, pop, and house music. They met approximately six years ago through Facebook when Assia discovered a video of Giolì playing the electric drums.
Impressed by her talent, Assia reached out, leading to a connection over shared passions for music, travel, and art. This bond eventually evolved into both a personal and professional partnership.
Musical Journey
Giolì is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in piano, cello, drums, guitar, and handpan, while Assia contributes as the lead vocalist and guitarist. Together, they produce music that transcends traditional genres, incorporating elements from various cultures and languages.
Their live performances are notable for integrating organic instruments, and their #DiesisLive sessions, filmed in breathtaking locations like the Aeolian Islands in Sicily, have garnered significant attention.
Recent Projects
In April 2024, they released the EP "RESURRECTION (ACT I)" under their own label, Diesis Records. This EP marked a new artistic phase for them, featuring tracks like "God Don’t Leave Me Alone," "Young Forever," "I Missed You Too," and "The Point of Living."
Following this, they embarked on the RESURRECTION Live World Tour, performing in various cities across North America and Europe.
Artistic Philosophy
Giolì & Assia are dedicated to creating music that crosses not only musical but also political and cultural boundaries. They have collaborated with artists from different backgrounds, such as Brazilian singer and drag queen Pabllo Vittar on the track "Quedate," showcasing their commitment to diverse and inclusive artistry.
