Chimney Cake Festival, Budapest Zoo, 10 - 12 October

The 12th Chimney Cake Festival will be held at the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden, offering expats a sweet attraction filled with local tradition, live music and a variety of tastes to try.

Known in Hungarian as Kürtőskalács, the beloved Chimney Cake is a local favourite made from spiral dough baked over charcoal, coated in sugar, and often rolled in special toppings.
