We would like to introduce you an unconventional conference, the TEDxDanubia. This is the first official, independently organized TEDx event in Hungary based on the legendary TED conferences. At the age of 18, Dezső Ránki won first prize at the Schumann International Competition in Zwickau, and has performed concerts worldwide ever since. Among others, he has played with the Berlin and London Philharmonics, the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam and the Orchestre National in Paris, and under noted conductors including Sir Georg Solti, Sándor Végh, Lorin Maazel and Zubin Mehta.

The 'PROGRESS – equality without boundaries' programme of the Hungarian Ministry of Human Resources focuses on topics such as people with disabilities, ethnic discrimination and solidarity between generations. The aim of this programme is to help young people eliminate prejudice and stereotypes in order to strengthen acceptance and combat discrimination.
