Construction of a 36-metre Lego tower began outside St. Stephen’s Basilica in the Fifth District on Wednesday. Children will continue building the tower today with the aim of reaching the world record height of 36 metres at around 2 p.m., Sunday afternoon.

Officials from the Guinness world record company will arrive in Budapest on Saturday to verify the record.
