Home Rental Rates in Hungary Climb Significantly
Home rental rates in Hungary rose 8.6pc year-on-year in February, data compiled by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show.

Rental rates in the capital increased 8.0pc.

In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates edged up 0.2pc nationwide and were down 0.4pc in Budapest.

In the capital, the average monthly rental rate of a flat was HUF 250,000 at the start of March, level with the rate twelve months earlier, ingatlan.com said.

The average monthly rental rate was HUF 230,000 in Debrecen, HUF 190,000 in Gyor and HUF 160,000 in Szeged, it added.
