Putin Is Here: Maps Of Streets To Avoid Today
Several roads and public spaces have been sealed off in Budapest due to the official visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his delegation to the Hungarian capital. According to the statement released by Foreign Ministry, Péter Szijjártó received Russian Minister of Health Veronica Skvortsova on Wednesday afternoon, which was followed by a meeting with CEO of Rosatom Aleksey Likhachev.

On Wednesday evening, Szijjártó held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, while on Thursday morning he met with Russian Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov”.

Vladimir Putin is expected to arrive in Budapest at around midday on today, Thursday. After landing at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, the Russian President will be received by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in the Parliament building. The two leaders will give a joint press conference in the afternoon.

The visit of the Russian delegation is secured by the Hungarian Counter-Terrorism Centre (TEK). The road restrictions will affect the area of the Budapest Airport, some parts of the M0 and M3 motorways in particular as well as the Andrássy boulvard the central (5th, 6th) districts of Budapest.
