Botka is viewed favourably by 44% of Hungarians, compared to 46% for Orbán, and 31% for Jobbik leader Gábor Vona.

LMP co-leader Bernadett Szél also has a 46% approval rating.

Among those without a party preference, the approval figures are 44% for Botka and 29% for Orbán.

The Democratic Coalition’s Ferenc Gyurcsány is the least popular party leader, viewed favourably by only 20% of respondents, behind Socialist President Gyula Molnár and Together president Péter Juhász, both at 29%.

Of the two candidates for President, incumbent János Áder has 57% support, while left-wing candidate László Majtényi has 43%.
