FINA World Championships, Budapest, 14 - 30 July
Hungary is the host country of this FINA World Championship between 14- 30 July with swimming, diving, high diving, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, and water-polo contests held in Budapest and Balatonfüred.

Locations in the Hungarian capital include Dagály Aquatics Arena, Alfréd Hajós Complex on Margaret Island, the Lake in Városliget City Park, and the temporary pools installed near Batthyány tér by the Danube.

Schedule of the Championship

History:  FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) organises World Championships as of 1973. At the first edition 4 disciplines – swimming, synchronised swimming, diving and men’s water polo – formed part of the competition.
