HUF 500,000 Bonus Offered to Attract New Budapest Bus Drivers

The Budapest Public Transport Company (BKV) will pay HUF 500,000 gross to qualified bus and trolleybus drivers who apply until August 31, 2023, writes hrportal.hu.

BKV colleagues who recommend drivers will also receive a HUF 500,000 gross bonus as part of the campaign launched at the beginning of the summer, according to the company's announcement yesterday.

The lack of bus drivers across Europe is causing problems for transport companies, including BKV, which is why it launched the summer campaign.

The company employs 2,000 bus drivers and 280 trolley bus drivers, whose average gross earnings are HUF 730,000.
