Fidesz: List of EC Contracts with NGOs Made Public Online - 'Shocking Numbers'
The delegation of ruling Fidesz and the Patriots for Europe party family have made public the list of contracts between the European Commission and "so-called NGOs including some 1,000 political activist groups," Fidesz MEP Csaba Dömötör told a press conference on Thursday.

The list is available to the public at the website ngotransparency.eu, Domotor said.

The website can be searched for names of "political activist groups" to see whether they received funding from the European Union between 2019 and 2023. It also lists "activist groups" funded by the EC in a given country, he said.

The data is based on documents obtained from the EC, Domotor said. "The numbers are shocking, as the European Commission concluded 37,000 contracts between 2019 and 2023 worth a total of 17 billion euros or 6,800 billion forints," he said.

"What they created is exactly like the USAID which was suspended because the lofty goals were hiding a liberal money-distribution system," he said.
