Diplomatic Bribes: Former Ministerial Commissioner Charged with Corruption in Hungary

The suspect was in charge of government communications with Hungary's honorary consuls, and is believed to have offered to others securing diplomatic positions connected to other countries in return for a bribe, starting in 2015, the statement said.
According to the charges, three people refused the suspect's offers, while a fourth accepted it.
The suspect is believed to have acquired nearly 65 million forints (EUR 160,000) through his illegal dealings, the statement said.
