Bomb Hoax Disrupts Huge Borjour Wine-Tasting in Budapest, Again
For the second consecutive year, the Budapest Convention Centre had to be evacuated due to a bomb alert while a wine-tasting event was held in the building on Saturday evening.

Reports indicated that 2,000 people were herded to the street.

Police arrived with dogs and searched the whole building, but found no explosives.

“We must get used to the idea that our event is torpedoed every year,” said the organiser of the wine sampling event, Sára Megyeri, as the building also had to be evacuated a year ago.

Everybody was allowed to return to the building and organisers added one hour to extend the duration of the event.
