Papa Roach to Rock Budapest Park on 9 June
Although the band has produced numerous hits over their 25-year career, one thing is certain: whenever we hear the name Papa Roach, the opening line of Last Resort echoes in our heads almost reflexively.

As part of their Rise Of The Roach tour, the band will bring their hits to Budapest Park on June 9. What’s more, their support act will be Trivium, guaranteeing a powerful night.

The twice Grammy-nominated, platinum-certified Papa Roach is one of the heavyweights of hard rock music.

In 2020, the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their iconic album INFEST, yet they never sank into nostalgia and have always managed to bring something new. So far, the group has released 10 studio albums, with their most recent record Ego Trip coming out under their own label, New Noize Records.

Since its release, Ego Trip has accumulated more than 360 million streams worldwide and includes four chart-topping singles, among them Leave a Light On (Talk Away the Dark), which became the band’s biggest hit of the past decade.

Papa Roach certainly doesn’t lack hits: in total, 26 of their songs have made it into the Top 10, and they boast 12 number-one singles. From the very beginning, the band has also placed great emphasis on raising awareness about mental health — something that Last Resort also reflects.

Papa Roach last performed in Hungary this summer with a memorable show at Sziget, and now, six years after their arena concert, they are returning to Budapest with another headliner show.

They will be preceded by Trivium, who last visited Hungary in 2023. Over the past two decades, Trivium has successfully found that almost magical balance hidden between captivating melodic metal, the unpredictability of extreme metal, black metal, and rock ’n’ roll.
