Applicants have applied for a total of HUF 76.4bn in support or HUF 1.9m on average, Andre Paloc said. So far, HUF 56bn of the support has been paid out, he added.

Pensioners account for over 18,000 of applicants and HUF 24.3bn of payouts.

Families with children and pensioners residing in settlements with populations under 5,000 are eligible for as much as HUF 3m in support to cover up to half of project costs in the framework of the scheme launched in 2025.
