The first Budapest Coffee Festival, held at the Museum of Applied Arts, aims to reflect the recent surge in interest and development of the local and international coffee industry. Organisers say, "We want to create an opportunity to grant a platform for professionals dedicated to quality coffee and everybody interested in coffee culture to get closer to each other in a fantastic atmosphere."

MOL opened its first drive-through service at a filling station between Budapest and Szentendre on Thursday. This is part of the MOL 2030 strategy aimed at greater emphasis on non-oil related activities, while keeping clients.
