Nearly 100 different draft beers will be available for unlimited tasting throughout the event, served in 1-2 dl samples.

According to the organizers, the essence of the festival continues to be the tasting experience itself: tickets provide unlimited sampling over the two days.In previous years, the event has taken place at several iconic Budapest venues including the Várkert Bazár, the Marriott, the InterContinental and the Gellért hotels, and now the prestigious New York Palace joins the list.

“Beer is far more than a grain-based fermented beverage made from malted barley (or other cereals), water, hops and yeast. Its character is shaped by the ingredients, brewing techniques, hop additions and type of fermentation, and today it has become a cultural and social phenomenon. Beer consumption has always created community, from medieval monasteries to urban pubs.

This festival brings that sense of community into the cold days of Budapest, even when temperatures drop below zero. Craft beer enthusiasts can look forward to selections from Hungarian, Czech, German, English and Belgian breweries. Alongside these special beverages we will offer delicious food pairings as well,”- said festival founder László Kóczián.

Visitors can expect beer-focused gastronomy, curated selections and a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to local audiences, the festival also attracts international guests.

“For us, beer appreciation is not about quantity, but about discovering flavors. Unlimited tasting makes it possible to compare beers side by side,  this is the core experience of 21st-century beer culture.
