Budapest Coffee Week: A Celebration of Cafés, Culture & Community
- 15 Sep 2025 4:36 PM
For seven days, participants can explore the city’s diverse coffee culture through tastings, workshops, roastery tours, and special limited-edition drinks. From carefully crafted artisan roasts to inventive signature creations, the programme offers plenty to enjoy for both seasoned coffee enthusiasts and curious newcomers.
At the heart of the event is the Coffee Passport, a booklet that guides you through Budapest’s participating specialty cafés. Each stop earns a stamp, which can later be exchanged for prizes — a playful way to discover new spots while keeping track of your journey through the city’s coffee scene.
The week also highlights the community aspect of coffee culture. Alongside tastings, expect professional talks, sustainability workshops, and behind-the-scenes insights from Hungarian and international experts.
Participating venues include some of Budapest’s most popular names such as fekete, Madal, Kelet, nor/ma grand, Kontakt, Coffee Works, and Tranzit by Flow.
Whether you’re keen to broaden your knowledge, meet like-minded coffee fans, or simply enjoy exceptional brews, Budapest Coffee Week is set to be a lively addition to the city’s cultural calendar.
Dates: Monday, 22 September – Sunday, 28 September 2025
Locations: Over 60 cafés and roasteries across Budapest
