Budapest and Warsaw are in agreement that central Europe can become the engine of European growth, Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade, said after meeting his Polish counterpart Witold Waszczykowski. He said they had both agreed that Visegrad Group cooperation should be intensified, given changes taking place around the world, such as in US foreign policy and Brexit.

On 4th November, the internationally famous Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders personally handed over the Award he founded to the graduates of MOME’s (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest) Design Institute. On the basis of his master diploma project, a textile and fashion design graduate, Richard Marton received the main award that also comes with a 1,500 Euro prize.

Replacement services during the revamp of the third metro line will be operated by using the Budapest transport company’s existing buses, the Budapest City Council general assembly meeting decided. The assembly approved the proposal with 23 votes in favour, two against and one abstention.
