On display until 4 September 2016. Everything in this exhibition is arranged according to its dominant colour. The greens are in one room, the blues in another, and the reds in the third. The aim is to give a new perspective on the dazzling variety of artworks held in the Museum of Applied Arts, which means that everything on display here comes from the Museum’s own collections.

Warm apple crumble, thick pieces of cake made up of tempting layers of chocolate sponge cake, cream, fresh cream-cheese and peanut butter, or a light Baiser tartlet covered with mascarpone and fresh fruits – the cakes and desserts at Édesmindegy will simply melt your heart. The dessert bar, which opened in 2013 near the banks of the Danube, is just the place to be for sweet-tooths.

Hungary’s budget is expected to run a cash-flow-based deficit of 1,166.4 billion forints (EUR 3.7bn) next year, well above the 761.6 billion gap targeted for 2016. The 2017 budget bill targets revenue of 17,374.9 billion forints and expenditures of 18,541.3 billion.
