The CAFe Budapest Contemporary Arts Festival presents some of the greatest contemporary performers from Hungary and abroad, including Yann Tiersen, Hiromi, Plaid and the Southbank Gamelan Players, Squarepusher’s project band, Shobaleader One, Krzysztof Penderecki, Yellowjackets, the FAMILIE FLÖZ and Krisztián Gergye’s Company.

This relaxed networking event for expats and locals (Xpats) got off to a sparkling start with a welcome drink from Törley. Then guests enjoyed unlimited tastes of 20 different wines from a divine selection of Hungary's best wineries, including: Gróf Buttler; Kázsmér; Pajzos-Megyer, and many more quality options thanks to Veritas Wine Merchants.
Explosion In Budapest: Skeptical Hungarians Suspect Foul Play

Last night around 10:30 there was an explosion in front of an empty storefront at 2-4 Teréz körút. Two policemen, a man and a woman, both in their twenties, were seriously injured. According to early reports, the explosion took place inside the store, but eventually it was ascertained that the detonation of the anti-personnel nail bomb occurred outside. Hundreds of nails have been found nearby.
