Well-known folk and dignitaries from the city came along for the launch of “Blue Plate”, a guide, a handy book of tips on Budapest. Where you could go and what you could find which is a little off the beaten track. For example, if you’re inclined to and are up for it, places to go where you can find belly dancing!

The evening had a lovely understated, relaxed charm about it, with a touching impromptu speech from Anna’s daughters on how wonderful mummy is, and some thought provoking networking activities, which never goes a miss.

And just to make the evening slide along, you had a bespoke cocktail, ‘The Gold-Plated Blue Plate”, a celebratory mix of Sauvignon Blanc Gold Flake Jelly, Tanqueray No. Ten gin, rose petal syrup, pink grapefruit and lemon bitters, topped up with Kreinbacher Brut sparkling wine. Now that is something worth popping out for!
