In the first half of 2015, Hungary’s immigration office spent a total 2 billion forints (EUR 6.4m) on services for migrants in the country, twice as much as last year, the head of the authority told public television M1. Zsuzsanna Végh said that the cost of medical tests, necessary to reduce the risk of possible epidemics, could amount to several hundred million forints during the year.
