New Car Sales In Hungary Climb One-Quarter In 2016

New car sales in Hungary climbed 25% to 96,500 last year, Datahouse said. Sales of light commercial vehicles were up 21.8% at 21,333. Ford led the market with sales of 15,091 vehicles, giving it 12.8% market share.
Suzuki was runner-up, selling 11,266 vehicles, followed by Opel, with 10,536 sales. Sales of large commercial vehicles edged down 3.3% to 5,515. Bus sales were down almost a quarter at 411. Motorcycles sales increased 6% to 2,213.
