Drinking Alcohol In Public Is Banned In Hungary Until Jan 3
It is forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages in places where it has customarily been permitted between December 24 and January 3, under a government decree published in Wednesday’s issue of Magyar Közlöny.

The regulation was signed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. No explanation was added.

The curfew between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. remains in force until January 11. New Year’s Eve parties may not be held either.
