Home Sales In Hungary Starting To Recover
Home sales in May reached 8,200, down by 38% from one year earlier but up by 35% from the previous month, property agency Duna House estimates.

Weekly data confirm the start of a gradual recovery, as the decrease from one year earlier fell to 22-31% in the last week of May.

If this trend continues, then the level experienced in recent years can be reached within months, the agency forecast.

Budapest home sales figures remain significantly below the peak volumes of 2018. Sales volume dropped by 40% in the city from 2018 to 2019.
