Wizz Air Cancels Three West Balkan Destinations From Budapest
Low-cost airline Wizz Air has cancelled flights between Budapest and Tirana, Pristina and Sarajevo, Forbes reports.

Wizz Air won a state tender in late 2016 for operating flights between the Hungarian capital and Sarajevo, Podgorica, Pristina, Tirana and Skopje.

As the subsidised period ends in April, and due to the coronavirus travel restrictions, the airline only maintains flights to Podgorica and Skopje.

The state subsidy to the airline must have reached Ft 2.5-3 billion over the four years, Forbes estimates.
