Over 100,000 Families Apply for Govt Home Renovation Grant

So far, over 100,000 families have applied for a government grant to help renovate their homes, the state secretary in charge of families said on Facebook on Monday.
Róbert Zsigó said in a video that the applications were worth nearly a combined 190 billion forints (EUR 54m), adding that the scheme, launched a year ago, “has been proven”.
The government has “built family assistance to ensure that families have a safer, more predictable life” aimed at “providing families with a safe home”, Zsigó said.
“Hungary is a family-friendly country and we are working to ensure that it stays so,” he said.
