Yettel has launched its home TV service based on mobile technology, after a successful 10-week pilot project, sales director and deputy CEO Nemanja Zilovic announced at a press conference.

The service is available via a TV Box connected to a TV set, via the Yettel TV app on mobile phones and tablets, as well as via online streaming on PCs.

Apps for smart TVs will be available for download later.

Broadcasting of certain channels on Yettel TV can be fast-forwarded and rewound, watched back for seven days, or recorded for up to 30 days.

Retail sales director Olga Szafonov added that Yettel TV users started playback more than 4.5 million times and watched a total of 2.2 million hours during the trial period, using 5.9 million gigabytes of data traffic.

The list of the most watched channels mainly consists of domestic commercial channels and movie channels: Comedy Central, Cool, Film+, HBO2, M1, M4 Sport, Mozi+, RTL, Sorozat+, TV2.
