Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing on Tuesday, the PM’s press chief said.

Hungary will vote against the European Commission’s proposal to reform the European electricity market, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said in Luxembourg on Monday, adding that the reform would take away the right of EU member states to keep utility prices low.
It is “scandalous” that Ukraine has placed OTP Bank on its list of “international sponsors of war”, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in Stockholm on Friday, adding that until that is withdrawn, it will be “very difficult” for the Hungarian government to negotiate about further sanctions.
