The government is supporting the investment, which will create dozens of jobs, with HUF 1.8bn, Szijjarto said. The project involves the development of an AI-supported navigation solution, he added.

Szijjarto highlighted NNG's close cooperation with vehicle makers as well as partnerships with local universities in research and fostering talent.

He said mostly Hungarian companies would collaborate as suppliers on the project.
