Everybody has a job in Hungary and families pay the lowest utilities bills in Europe, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at a conference evaluating Hungary's EU presidency in Budapest on Monday.
The European parliamentary plenary on Wednesday, which Prime Minister Viktor Orban attended, was "the height of hypocrisy" on the part of the left-liberal majority, and EC President Ursula von der Leyen had held a campaign speech against Hungary, an EU member state, an MEP of ruling Fidesz said in Strasbourg.
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has said that operations of the "Brussels lies factory" were unceasing despite "its continual failures".
Hungary has to prepare for serious attacks against its sovereign foreign policy in the coming years, Péter Szijjártó, the foreign minister, said at the Tranzit Festival in Tihany, at Lake Balaton, on Saturday.
