B+N Insight: Office Development Next to Városliget Has Reached its Highest Point

Budapest City Park (Városliget) will soon be enriched with a unique real estate development. The Liget Center multi-building project consists of reconstructing two historic buildings and building a brand-new boutique office building named Liget Center Vitrum.

 Construction is proceeding on schedule, and the Vitrum building is now structurally complete.

Near to zero

Vitrum is a nearly zero-energy building that will offer 2,200 sqm of leasable office space over six floors. It offers a range of green and smart solutions for tenants opting for a downtown location.

According to the official announcement, the handover of the building’s shell and core is expected in autumn 2024. 

The new boutique office development, Liget Center Vitrum, a WING development, has reached its highest point.

“With the completion of the Liget Center Vitrum building, the development of the Liget Center office complex has reached yet another milestone. This is a truly unique development, including both the construction of a completely new office building and the renovation of two office buildings listed as historic monuments.

Together, they will form a harmonious complex capable of meeting the demands of the 21st century. Liget Center Vitrum is a nearly zero-energy building with extensive vertical green spaces.

TIBA Architects Studio designs Liget Center Vitrum, while WORKUP, a specialised division of FITOUT Zrt, carries out the general construction.
