Budapest to Launch Area Warden Service at Busy Squares

The six areas affected are Blaha Lujza, Deak Ferenc, Etele, Ors vezer and Szell Kalman Square and the Kobanya-Kispest metro terminal, he added in the post.
Area wardens will wear a uniform bearing the Budapest Public Utilities logo, performing their duties from dawn till late in the evening, Karacsony said.
"The cleanliness of Budapest, our shared home, is our common cause: we are working hard on it, purchasing new equipment, having new rubbish bins designed and launching an area warden service. But we also have to look after our shared home together," the mayor said.
