Home Prices in Hungary Climb Steeply in May

Home prices in Hungary rose 12.9pc year-on-year in May, listings site ingatlan.com said on Tuesday.

In Budapest, home prices were 8.9pc higher.

In a month-on-month comparison, home prices edged down 0.4pc nationwide and inched 0.7pc lower in Budapest.

Median prices in the capital stood at HUF 1.7m/sqm for new builds and HUF 1.4m/sqm for resale homes in June.
