According to GKI calculations, most of the consumption related to the event may come from the 50,000-70,000 foreign guests, with an average spending of between EUR 700 and EUR 1,000s.

The total revenue corresponds to the expected average value based on previous events like the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix.

The event's time window is about a week and a half with the peak lasting two days, during which premium accommodation prices can be double or triple their standard rate.

The event can also have longer-term returns, as it improves Budapest's tourism situation and can support the occupancy rate of accommodation for up to a year and a half, GKI said.
